Whole Foods Market lists vegan cosmetics as top trend for 2019
Grocery giant Whole Foods Markets has listed vegan cosmetics as a top beauty and wellness trend for 2019.
According to a post from the retailer “the cruelty-free movement is picking up steam across the industry in 2019 with an emergence of (and customer demand for) new vegan cosmetics”.
The chain cited consumers seeking out third-party cruelty-free certifications, and improved quality of vegan cosmetics, as reasons for growth of the vegan beauty sector.

Brands currently thriving in the vegan cosmetics sphere include Kat Von D Beauty, Pacifica, and Tarte’s new vegan sister brand Sugar Rush.
Now, even vegan makeup lovers can go full James Charles without a worry — just don’t expect 15 million followers to come with your ten dollar tube of mascara. It doesn’t work like that.
