The price is RightRice as celebs invest millions in vegan brand

A recently launched vegan food brand, dubbed RightRice, has secured more than $5 million in investments from celebrities and food industry pros.

According to a story broken by Food Navigator, celebrities Kris Jenner, Karlie Kloss and Ashley Graham and trainer Jillian Michaels are among those who invested in the new brand.

RightRice, which is marketed as a grain “packed with the power of vegetables”, is actually composed primarily of lentils, chickpeas and peas, but is made to have a rice-like appearance and texture.

RightRice Original

It contains 10 grams of protein and 5 grams of fibre per serving, and is advertised as gluten-free, vegan and non-GMO.

The product comes in four flavors and is designed to cook quickly and easily in about 10 minutes, freeing you up to catch up on the latest season of Game of Thrones while scrolling haphazardly through Twitter.

Yeah, we see you. Why’d you put the show on if you were just going to look at your phone?

Anyway, you can grab RightRice products on Amazon and at Whole Foods Markets nationwide.
