“We shouldn’t be looking for the right way to do the wrong thing,” says vegan activist James Aspey

Activist James Aspey appeared on Logan Paul’s podcast this week, where he made a case for an end to animal exploitation.

Paul’s roommate and co-host Mike Majlak was quick to question Aspey’s views. He argued, instead, for more “humane” practices in animal agriculture.

“Do you think that there’s more credibility or warrant in a movement to kind of change that than to get people to eat plants only, because it’s such a leap?” he asked.

Aspey explained that, after 26 years of meat-eating, he understands where Majlak is coming from, but maintained that hurting animals in the absence of necessity is problematic.

“A lesser of two evils is still evil, man,” Aspey replied.

“And we shouldn’t be looking for the right way to do the wrong thing.”

The guy seems pretty attached to this whole “hurting others is wrong” concept. Perhaps he’s one of those “extremists” people are always on about?
