Vegan roast debuts at Gordon Ramsay’s London restaurant
Superstar chef Gordon Ramsay has added a quintessentially British Sunday roast to the menu at his London restaurant — only this one’s entirely plant-based.
Ramsay took to Twitter to announce the new dish, made for Bread Street Kitchen.
“It’s happened….the #vegan roast has landed at @breadstkitchen” he wrote, adding a hashtag which read “roast revolution”.

Granted, Ramsay may seem an unlikely leader for said revolution, given that he once said he’s allergic to vegans. Nonetheless, he appears unafraid to capitalize off of a growing market of vegan, vegetarian and flexitarian diners.
While reactions to Ramsay’s Twitter post have been split, there’s at least one comment we should all be able to agree on.
“Bit sparse on the gravy tho,” wrote one Twitter user.
Fair — but when it comes to (vegan) gravy, is there ever really enough?
