Deborah Meaden, star of UK TV series Dragon Den, is helping turn dairy farms vegan. The businesswoman has partnered up with PETA for the campaign, which will encourage dairy farmers to stop selling cows’ milk.

Dairy farmers will be able to enter a competition to win a one-on-one Zoom business meeting with Meaden, with PETA choosing the winner “based on their motivation and enthusiasm for making the transition from dairy farming to growing plants and their compelling and thoughtful use of the written word to convey this.”

They will also have the chance to win a professional consultation with agriculture experts from organic vegetable farm Tolhurst Organic who will help the farmer transition from dairy farming to growing organic vegetables.

Meaden took to Twitter to express her enthusiasm about the campaign: “It takes vision to look beyond the now and the familiar but success demands that of us every day. I look forward to working with a Farmer who does just that…and help them reap the rewards. Proud to partner with @PETAUK on this.”
