Quorn sets up in the U.S

The UK based vegan meat brand, Quorn, is creating a culinary development center in Dallas, TX.

This new facility will help the company in meeting their goals to become the top vegan meat brand. They will use the center to test out new equipment and work on the coating for their mycoprotein – which is Quorn’s unique fermented protein they use in all of their products.

The facility was planned out and created by two important leaders in Quorn – US President Judd Zusel and Executive Chef Stephen A. Kalil. Zusel.

The kitchen in the facility is based off of a variety of kitchens in restaurants, from quick-service type settings to fine dining. There will also be a product development lab where they will be able to bring more products to North America much faster.

The CEO of Quorn, Marco Bertacca, has said that their goal is to become “king of alternative chicken globally.” With this new facility, he says that they are in a position to reach that goal.

While Quorn has a line of vegan products, it is exciting to anticipate more creative and innovative products that will only help the vegan community flourish.
