London start-up launching vegan dog food to ‘disrupt the pet food industry’

Yvonne O'Halloran

A London-based food tech start-up called The Pack have designed a range that will consist of three flavoured, wet dog foods that are fully plant-based. They have been created by food scientists, pet nutritionists and pet food technologists incorporating a blend of plant-proteins.

Founders of Vevolution Damien Clarkson & Judy Nadel created The Pack along with co-founders Michael Van Deursen who is a tech entrepreneur and vegan investor, and Russel White who is a product specialist.

Damien and Judy have stated that they are wanting to ‘transform the pet food industry creating great-tasting, planet-friendly products that pets love.’

Investors include international footballer Chris Smalling, the boys behind BOSH! Henry Firth and Ian Theasby, and former Liverpool and Hull footballer Kevin Stewart.

The Pack will be available direct-to-consumer via and on different marketplaces including leading plant-based supermarket The Vegan Kind.
