London ice-cream shop Yorica rolls out vegan pints to Waitrose stores

Yorica, a well-loved vegan ice-cream shop located in London’s trendy Soho neighborhood, has announced that its ice cream will now be available for purchase at 261 Waitrose stores.

Unfortunately, only one of the brand’s by-the-pint flavors will be available at the grocery chain at this time. Fortunately, that flavour is Double Chocolate Cookie. 

With a flavour like that, it seems we need not say more but, for the record, Yorica’s pints are also totally free of 14 major allergens and not only dairy-free, but certified vegan — making them a great option for animal-friendly eaters and those with lactose intolerance too.

Nobody wants to spend half of date night (or cry-into-a-pint-alone-in-your-underwear night) in gastrointestinal distress.

Those looking to give the coconut and rice-based pints a shot can find them at Waitrose locations listed here, where they retail at £4.99 a pop. They are also available through online retailer Ocado, where they’re currently priced at £4.50.
