Gordon Ramsey becomes the face of plant-milk brand for newest campaign

Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsey is usually associated with meaty burgers and dairy laden desserts, however the ‘Kitchen Nightmares’ personality is now representing the USA’s best-selling plant-based milk brand, Silk.

Teaming up to promote the brand’s latest oat milk campaign alongside a group of celebrities, Ramsey stated in a social post: “It took my kids getting on me, but now I really enjoy cooking more plant-based dishes at home and in my restaurants”

“Let me tell you, I know greatness when I taste it, and I am loving Silk Oatmilk for both sweet and savoury recipes.”

The outspoken chef has previously been a harsh critic of vegan food, however is now embracing more plant-based recipes in his home and restaurants.

His website features several vegan recipies, including breakfasts and desserts. The site states: ‘Cooking a meat and dairy free meal doesn’t mean you have to settle for anything less than delicious. Our collection of tantalising and varied vegan recipes will have vegans and meat eaters alike coming back for more.’

With his 25.9 million follower base on TikTok, Ramsey has also been using his huge social platform to turn heads with his vegan friendly creations such as rice paper and tofu ‘bacon’ and steak made from aubergine.

It is hard to ignore the fact that celebrities like Ramsey have a huge influence and by showing millions of people incredible plant-based food only encourages more and more people to try a meat free recipe.
