Fast-food giant KFC says vegan options are in the works — no, really
Well, we’ve seen it all now, folks. Plant-based eating has become so popular that even KFC has vegan options in the works.
That’s right, the fast-food giant responsible for popularizing buckets of chicken parts is headed the way of the vegans. This is not a drill.
“Veganism as a trend has really blown up,” KFC innovation director Jack Hinchcliffe told The Telegraph.
“We’re currently in the process of working on both vegetarian and vegan options in the innovation kitchen here in our head office.”

Does anybody else see pigs flying? Safe into the fields of the nearest sanctuary, of course.
Anyway, it seems it’s time for a roll call. As of today, we’ve got Hungry Jack’s, Domino’s, White Castle, Del Taco, Chipotle, A&W, McDonald’s, and now even KFC delving into the world of plant-based meats and cheeses.
Who will it be next? Might be time for a betting pool.
