Dairy alternative brand Oatly debuts line of drinkable vegan yogurt

Oatly, the Swedish dairy alternative brand best known for its coveted barista-friendly oat milk, has now debuted a line of drinkable vegan yogurts.

A product sure to take you back to the days of Yop Me Mama, this stuff is an easy on-the-go snack loaded with goodness — but it won’t get that jingle out of your head. Sorry, nineties’ babies.

Oatly announced the new release on Instagram, where it described Oatgurt as “a pretty progressive product that you can use like yo-gurt only it’s made from oats not dairy, so it gives you beta-glucans, nice unsaturated fat and the good vibes that come from making a thoughtful choice for the planet”.

The Oatgurt range includes four flavors: Strawberry, Natural, Vanilla, and — a real curve ball here — Lemon Elderflower. Bet you were expecting chocolate.
