Cheetah Girls singer Adrienne Houghton shares her favorite vegan treats on YouTube

Adrienne Houghton — perhaps best known as a former member of the Cheetah Girls — has taken to YouTube to share a number of her favorite vegan treats.

In the video, Houghton announces her switch to plant-based eating, before giving followers a tour of her fridge — guac gone slimy inclusive.

“Surprise,” she says.

“I am officially now vegan, or attempting to be vegan. I’ve actually done it for a few weeks now, and I love it.”

Looks like The Party’s Just Begun for this star.

While Houghton is later unclear about whether she occasionally eats eggs, she does appear to eat a diet that’s predominantly plant-based, including fresh produce, non-dairy milk and a number of vegan specialty products.

The star mentions that, when it came to cheese, the struggle was real.

“So the one thing that I wasn’t sure I could give up when I became a vegan was cheese,” she said.

“I was like ‘You guys, I’m just too French to give up cheese’, you know?”

Well, it appears that, in reality, “too French” she was not. Houghton enthusiastically shared a drawer packed with the good stuff, namely Chao, Miyokos, and Follow Your Heart products — all good choices in a world where, like it or not, not all vegan queso is created equal.
