Boozy vegan ice pops coming your way this summer

Organic spirits brand Drake’s is set to debut a line of vegan-friendly, booze-laden ice pops, and plans for a midsummer launch.

No more are the days of pretending to like IPA and dry martinis. Now, you can feel like a kid while indulging in an ice pop that, at 15% ABV, will have you well on your way to, well, acting like a kid.

The soon-to-launch product will come in four flavors, Mango Rum Punch, Watermelon Martini, Vodka Lemonade, and Classic Mojito.

They are all marketed as USDA Organic, gluten-free and vegan, the last of which stands to reason given that Drake’s also supports Long Lake Animal Rescue, a Minnesota-based non-profit.

Those looking to reduce their booze-related waste, however, may want to consider, instead, reusing growlers, ordering drinks on tap at a favourite pub or buying spirits by the bottle. Drake’s also offers a number of vegan-certified options suitable for homemade cocktails.
