Galaxy launches new vegan chocolate bars
The UK’s second largest confectionary company is launching a vegan version of its best selling milk chocolate galaxy bars. It’s the first large confectionary company to launch vegan milk chocolate bars & the 3 new flavors will include smooth orange, caramelized hazelnut, and caramel & sea salt.
Even more impressive is that the bars are environmentally friendly- as each product is wrapped in compostable packaging made with wood fiber.
Kerry Cavanaugh, marketing director at Galaxy manufacturer Mars Wrigley UK, said the company is “so excited” to introduce the Galaxy vegan range using a recipe that “doesn’t compromise on the brand’s signature smooth and creamy characteristics”.
Abigail Stevens, trademark marketing manager at The Vegan Society, said the organisation is “delighted” that Galaxy is “entering the vegan market”.The new vegan bars will cost £3 and will go on sale at Tescos from today.
