Bodybuilder Kai Greene trying out a plant-based diet
Kai Greene is a well-known bodybuilder, personal trainer, artist and actor. He came in second place at the 2012, 2013 and 2014 Mr Olympia competitions. He recently took to Twitter asking his fans for their advice after watching the new Documentary The Game Changers:
“Thinking about going on a plant-based diet. Still doing more research. Anyone have experiences with it?”
He received a lot of support from fans on a whole and James Wilks who is the producer and narrator of The Game Changers responded urging him to get in contact so he could get his team to help with whatever he needed.
Just this week Kai announced on social media that he would try out a plant-based diet for a week after watching “The Game Changers” on Netflix. He posted:
” I always knew the Green in my last name would mean to stand for something” ending with hashtags #FeelingProud #Game CHANGER.
There has been great debate over weather athletes can thrive and excel on a plant-based diet, but the documentary has made an impact on this bodybuilder who is willing to give it a try as a plant-based diet may give athletes that added edge. In his third tweet he warns his competitors that 2020 is going to be different saying:
“I’m telling’ you bro #2020 gonna be diff! New plant-based diet #Gameover.
It will be interesting to see if he continues with plant-based eating after a week, but regardless it shows how much of an impact this powerful and informative documentary is having on everyone who watches it.
