Vegan chorizo now available at Blaze Pizza locations nationwide

US-based chain Blaze Pizza has announced that it will now be offering vegan chorizo nationwide.

“Vegan Blazers — your day has come,” read a Twitter post from the brand.

“Vegan Spicy Chorizo is now available at all of our U.S. locations!”

Needless to say, Twitter went wild. This is about pizza, after all. Perhaps the most notable of the online reactions was a Tweet from the Animal Rescue Crusade.

“This pizza turns us, as an organisation, on immensely,” it read.

Doesn’t seem like there was much held back there, or from the less-impressed commenters.

“Woul rather eat the box [sic],” wrote one user.

Perhaps you’re in this person’s camp. Perhaps you’re asking yourself, if not animals, what this stuff is even made of. Well, that’s pretty simple actually. According to Blaze Pizza, the vegan spicy chorizo is made using soy and spices — pretty straight-forward. Certainly that’s better than a box, anyway.
