Vegan ‘butcher’ shop is set to open in the UK next week

Just in time for World Vegan Day, Rudy’s Vegan Butcher shop will open on November 1st, becoming the first plant-based butcher’s in the UK.

The London store will be set up in the same way as a traditional butcher shop, displaying vegan meat alternatives in large fridges as well as a charcuterie selection.

Customers can either visit the Islington store in person or order goodies such as cheeze sauce, homemade pastrami, dirty burger patties and chilli-non-carne online for home delivery nationwide.

Rudy’s also has a restaurant in Camden specialising in American inspired vegan junk food including delicious milkshakes and seitan hot dogs. Rudy’s chef Matthew Foster is now bringing the same great quality homemade products to the first of its kind meat-free butcher shop.

Fans of the ‘vegan AF American Diner’ were pleased to hear the news, commenting on the Instagram announcement post with their support and excitement.

Rudy’s will open its doors in under two weeks and will have a permanent site in North London.
