Qatar Airways has introduced a gourmet vegan range for its premium passengers
To meet the increasing demand for plant-based options, award-winning airline Qatar Airways has created a fully vegan à la carte menu for its Business Class customers. Economy customers can continue to pre-order vegan meals too.
Business Class passengers flying out from the Hamad International Airport in Doha will now be able to enjoy luxury plant-based meal options on board their flight.
The vegan dishes have been crafted with fresh and sustainable local and international ingredients, whilst ensuring that every item tastes delicious too.
Qatar Airways’ range includes smoked moutabel, courgette spirals with arrabbiata sauce, tofu and spinach tortellini, Asian style barbecue tofu, noodles, fried tofu with vegetable tajine, cauliflower couscous, kalamata bruschetta, and a chickpea flour omelette.
Mr. Akbar Al Baker, Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive has stated: “We always strive to provide our customers with authentic and indulgent experiences in the skies. We are delighted to incorporate a vegan main course choice to our on-board menu, offering our passengers yet another lifestyle choice that redefines the expectations from a five-star airline.”
